Challenge:
This campaign was something special. We kicked it off in the midst of the pandemic. Leaving us to scramble with any safe resources we could. We planned and executed an entire shoot outdoors in the middle of winter at a public park under a tent. At one point, condensation from snow melting on the tent started to drip on our seamless backdrops and we just rolled with the punches! This shoot was a perfect example of the magic that a strong creative team can still pull off despite all obstacles.

Outside of pandemic obstacles, our team was also challenged with capturing/creating new visuals for 8 oVertone products that would be launching on the Amazon storefront. With this being oVertone’s debut on Amazon as well, there were many touchpoints to consider. From the brand store to the landing pages and A+ content. This project challenged our conception skills to our execution skills.

Solution:
Our team came up with content that elevates the at-home color experience while still feeling tangible and relatable. Our main objectives were to communicate inclusive values through a range of models and hair types and convey key benefits. Our platform needed to be simple, offering education in easy, digestible bites to overcome a lack of familiarity with format.

Along with creating our e-commerce platform, shopper marketing, and PR assets, our team partnered with Stone Strategy Design to bring secondary packaging to life, elevating the brand experience to a masstige level. The outcome? A consumer experience that not only is easy on the eyes but also a case study for oVertone to be picked up at multiple other locations.
